Is It Safe To Plan For Pregnancy Despite Suffering From Thyroid Disorder?

I have a quick question, we made some test to my wife and we observed that the tsh levels are 6.67 . We are starting to plan for kids. She recently consulted a endocrinologist and he gave her some medicine to take on every day in the early morning. Just want to know if we plan for kids is there any possibility of we facing any problems ? If so what kind of ?
