Is It Safe To Stop Microgynon Pill For A While?

Hi, I'm taking the Microgynon pill and I am due to take the last pill on friday which would mean I would get my period next week, just when my boyfriend comes back! Is is ok to stop taking my pill two days early so that my period should have stopped by the time he gets back? Am I still protected when I start the new pack?
