Is It Safe To Switch From Ortho Tri Cyclen To Minastrin 24 Fe?

I am currently taking ortho tri cyclen LO for birth control, recently lost job and insurance. Cant afford to buy pill. my doctor can give me samples of minastrin 24 FE BUT the "assistant" is beyond rude and wont help me to figure out if that is comprable to ortho. I dont want to change but cant afford to buy. please help.
