Is It Safe To Take Aleve And Curcumin Together?

I have severe pain in my sacroiliac. I have had w x rays and my doctor told me I have arthritis in that area that is inflamed. He prescribed two 500 mg of Aleve per day for 2 weeks. I know this has bad side effects so I only take one capsule. It does eliminate most of the pain. I would also like to take curcumin. Can I take both of these together on a daily basis. I have only been taking the Aleve for about 5 days. Thank you.
