Is It Safe To Take Althea Pill From Third Day Of Menstruation?

Hello doctor, I am using althea pill since the 3rd day of my menstrual period,, and my concern is,, I m taking it at night,, is it already have a fast effect? because everytime i take my breakfast at 9am i use to bowel,, does that will reduce the effect of the pill? thank you
