Is It Safe To Take Amoxicillin To Treat Strep Throat?

Hi, I had a strip throat, and my Doctor gave me 10 day course of amoxicillin, I felt better. Then, about 10 days after my throat was hurting again, so I went to doctor and he said it is strip throat again, eventhough he did not run a test. So, he put me on 10 day course of a different antibiotics. It has been about 10 days since I was recovered and now I have well I think I have a strip throat again. I have decided not to go to doctor and let my body fight the strip on its own. Any opinions please? Oh never mind, I have to pay? Yah never mind
