Is It Safe To Take Augmentin For Crohn S Disease Despite Of Severe Diarrhea?

I am on drug Xeloda and have developed anal abscess in course or radiation for rectal Cancer. I also have Crohn s disease. I was prescribed Augmentin. Will it help or hurt me further. I have severe diarrhea from drug Xeloda and upper abdominal pain already!
