Is It Safe To Take Benicar With Hydrochlorothiazide?

I am having bad interactions with micardis 40 mg and 12.5 hydrochlorothiazide, my cardiologist has prescribed 2mg Benicar 12..5 mg hydrochlorothiazide the side effects when combined with 7 mg amlodipine are almost similar. Sweating chills light headedness, muscle pain itching joint pain muscle weakness headaches are a few of the side effects I currently experience along with 3 to 4 days of fatigue and drowisiness . How will the Benicar br any different?
