Is It Safe To Take Furosemide Inspite Of Taking Prednisone For Polymyalgia And Afib?

Is there a diuretic available that is safe to take with prednisone ? I have polymayalgia, swollen feet and ankles, atria fibrilation and a wonky heart valve. I was prescribed and took furosemide while on prednisone, with odd side effects; ie. very decreased urination and increased swelling in feet. Am therefore between a rock and a hard place. Hence my question above.Thank you for any suggestions.Sheila 87 years old
