Is It Safe To Take Godex DS Long-term While Having ESRD On Peritoneal Dialysis, And Could It Cause Weight Loss?

My Father In Law with ESRD has been taking Godex DS 3x/ day to 2x/ day recently since January 2023 and was prescribed due to antibiotics given when he had sepsis. He is on peritoneal Dialysis and no longer urinates. His SGPT and SGOT are normal and no problem with liver. Is there any harm in taking the supplement continuously? Does it make him lose weight? Does it contribute to any problems long term?
