Is It Safe To Take Ibuprofen To Reduce Menstrual Bleeding?

I have very intense martial arts training tomorrow, and I am on my period. I've heard that Ibuprofen can reduce menstrual blood flow. Is it o.k. to take 400 mg Ibuprofen before training while being on my period? It is a one time thing, I rarely take pills.
