Is It Safe To Take Itraconazole For Histoplasmosis In Urine?

My mom diagnosed with histoplasmosis in urine and taking itraconazole 4xday. She is not to return for testing until 3 months. Her liver tests appear normal but she has a alkaline phosphtate level of 128 . I worry its too much medicine . Your opinion would be appreciated greatly
