Is It Safe To Take LoSeasonique To Regularize Periods?

I am on LoSeasonique bc. With this medication, I get my period about every 3 months. My last menstrual cycle began the end of December. Approximately two weeks ago, I was a few hours late taking a dose and got spotting the next day. I still have spotting and am not sure if I should be concerned. I am sexually active.
