Is It Safe To Take Lorezepam Soon After Vicodin?

Hi, my father is 82 and 8 days ago had colon cancer removed, surgery went well and he s home recovering has appt to see Dr. next monday; however he s been taking a blood thinner for few yrs due to cardiovascular leg pain post open heart 16 yrs. ago, due to the recent surgery he s still off that med for 10 days, he was rx Vicodin and he also had lorezepam, if he took vicodin 1hr ago can he take the lorezepam now? Please reply
