Is It Safe To Take Meclizine For Acute Vertigo?

I suffer with acute vertigo.I am dealing with it as I speak to you. I have had episodes in the past going back 20 years, that would be the first time I experienced vertigo. I have been treating with meclizine, antibiotics. HCTZ. I need a doctor that can diagnose the source of my vertigo, and give me more options then just surprising the symptoms.
