Is It Safe To Take Methyprednisolone For Upper Respiratory Infection?

Hello I was diagnosed with avascular necrosis 10 years ago, which resulted in bilateral hip implants.The only explanation was reaction to prednisone pill-pak Now ,I have been prescribed methylprednisolone 4mg dspk for a upper respiratory infection...Should I be concerned? , or just take it? -Or wait until Monday and call my Doc?Thanks, Mike
