Is It Safe To Take Microbid For UTI?

hello I have had a UTI for the past month. Fist time my dr. put me on Cibrobay 500 for 3 days didn t work..the Cipro 1000mg for 3 days still resistant. He finally decided to put me on Microbid for 2 weeks. My 1st week passed, symptoms are better but I am still urinating quiet a lot...is this normal on my 2nd week to still have the urge to urinate? I am so concerned bc I just want this bacteria to die!
