Is It Safe To Take Nordette Twice A Month?

Is it okay to take nordette twice a month? I had my 1st 8 pills on dec. 20-21 then on the 26th i had my withdrawal bleeding. After my menstruation period, jan. 2, i had intercourse with my husband for two consecutive nights then on tues i took my 1st pill of birth control. Should i stop for a while taking it to take nordette? I'm on my 5th day of my birth control pills now. Thank you.
