Is It Safe To Take Norethisterone For 2 Weeks To Stop Bleeding While On Holiday, Even Though I Had A Mirena Coil Fitted 4 Weeks Ago?

I had the mirena coil fitted 4 weeks ago for heavy bleeding, im 51 years old and still having periods, ive just had my first period since having the coil fitted but im still bleeding slightly, I go on holiday in 2 days and was prescribed noristerone (before I had the coil) is it ok to start taking it even though I have the coil in so I dont bleed whilst i m away, just for 2 weeks.
