Is It Safe To Take Primolut-N For My Prolonged Bleeding?

Hi I have been having issues with my menses for 9 months. On November I saw my gyna n he placed the hormonal IUD in my uterus after several trials of promulut 5mg,transimic acid tablets, which didn t work to reduce bleeding. Today I went back to see him because I started my menses on 14th december, 2022 and am still bleeding though using one pad or pant liner in a day.He has put me on promulut 5mg, for ten days yet we did random sugar test and it was at 9.3.Am I a safe to take the promulut since I saw like it can trigger high sugar levels
