Is It Safe To Take Roxicodone To Relieve Pain After Posterior Vaginal Repair?

I had posterior vaginal repair; intraperitoneal uterosacral plication; cystoscopy on March 4th 2015, my Dr gave me roxicodone 5mg 1-2 tabs every 4 hours #20 and I'm running low if I still have to take two at a time which I suspect I will, I have two small children and I'm really trying to take it easy but I think I might be over doing it, will my Dr prescribe more pain meds? I'm scared to ask because of all the hype surrounding pain medication I don't want to be looked at as an addict and I'm afraid the Dr won't prescribe anymore. I don't know what to do.
