Is It Safe To Take Sudafed,NyQuil And Ibuprofen At The Same Time?

Can you take sudafed, NyQuil and Ibuprophen together? My son has a severe cold with aching joints temperature coughing mucous etc. He is a college lacrosse player and has some aches etc from last sat game which I think ibuprofen would help??? He is in the USA while I am in Australia!!
