Is It Safe To Take Tessalon For Chronic Cough Post Aortic Valve Replacement?

i had an aortive valve replacement april of last year. im currently getting over a cold. i went to the er yesterday and the prescribed tessalon perles for a chronic cough. i just checked my blood pressure and its 136/97. im also a breast cancer survivor and have a anemia problem.
