Is It Safe To Take Trapic To Stop Heavy Bleeding And Clots?

I have been having heavy bleeding with clots. My Gyneac told me to take Trapic MF 4 tablets in 6 hrs each. after the fourth tablet I noticed that the bleeding & clots have stopped completly.
Is this normal or are these Trapic MF tablets acting as a temporary face to stop the heavy flow.
My concern is, if its temporary than will it continue the heavy flow with clots in the next month or later?
