Is It Safe To Take Allergy Medication Prior To Cesarean Section Surgery?

I am scheduled for a csection on Monday 2/16/2015 @ 8am I know I am not supposed to have anything to eat or drink after midnight the day before however I have a sore throat and crazy allergies so my question is .... Would it be okay for me to take any medicines at bedtime the night before hand?
