Is It Safe To Take Ibuprofen For Migraine Problem?

i have a migraine since childhood....but now as i m 31...its getting more frequent and sometimes it attacks for four to five days successively....the pain starts anywhere and suddenly from head and then ending up with throbbing in the neck and i have to beat it by taking ibuprofen..(sometimes 6-8 pills per day) coz i cant stand the pain and have to carry on with my other works.....i know , so much of painkillers will effect on by body but dont hav ny option.....please help...
