Is It Safe To Take Nyquil While Taking Vyvanse. My

Is it safe to take nyquil while taking vyvanse. My son takes 20 mg every morning @ 7am, for ADD. He recently got a cold and he is over 12 years old, and I gave him nyquil right before he fell asleep for the night at 9pm. This was the first dose of nyquil, I administered. If he is still under the weather tomorrow morning, I'd like to give him a dose of dayquil before school. He doesn't want to miss school, if he has a fever he will definately be staying home, otherwise I'd like to give him the dayquil so he can be a littler more comfortable during the day. Basically, my question is, is it safe for him to take these over the counter cold remedies while taking vyvanse?
