Is It Safe To Take Transexamic Acid When Having Brown Vaginal Discharge?

Two days ago it woke up with brown discharge so I assumed that I had started my period. I was prescribed with Transexamic Acid to lighten my period. But yesterday i had normal discharge so it became clear to me that I was wrong about starting my period. Today I woke up and I have definitely started my period. I was just wondering would kt be ok if i kept taking the tablets today and for znother two days?
