Is It Safe To Travel Within A Week Of Having Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (vaginal)?

I live in Kansas and my sister lives alone in California. She is having a laporascopic hysterectomy (vaginal) in late June. I am flying out there to be with her for the surgery. I'd like to bring her back to Kansas with me a week after surgery, since I cannot stay in California more than a week. Would she be able to fly that soon? My sister is 50 years old, good health and weight.
