Is It Safe To Under Anti Rabies Vaccination While Breastfeeding?

Hi!im sha,28...i gave birth last month via cesarean section and now i breastfeed my baby..last saturday,i was bitten by cat and got 2 very small wounds..the cat didn't have vaccines..i went to a hospital and the doctor who treated me told me that i cannot have anti rabies shot because i am breastfeeding..he just gave me the anti tetanus shot..and he told me that its ok to continue breastfeeding even without the anti rabies shot as it will not affect my baby..is that true?please enlighten me as i am very concerned of me and my babys health..thank you!
