Is It Safe To Undergo Pelvic And Bladder Sling?

I have a bladder & rectum prolapse problem. Is it safe these days to have a pelvic & bladder sling done? I ve heard so much bad things about them i am afraid. The doctor is using Coloplast Axis dermis or Suspend facia lata graft to make a sling to fix the problem. She says it is made from tissue and is safe. Please advise. Thank you.
