Is It Safe To Use Lidocaine To Avoid Pain During Intercourse?

Hi sir i wants to break hymen for first time intercourse but it is very painfull so my partner not comfortable. I just wants to ask can i use local anaesthetics like lidocain for this purpose and please suggest whether it is safe. What i have to do i tried two time but each time unsucswafull due to pain
