Is Itchy Pinprick Blisters Sign Of Poison Ivy Contact?

At first I had a cluster of tiny itchy pin prick blisters. Now they are on my arms but not as many as on my hand and fingers. I was diagnosed as having poison ivy contact and given a cortisone cream and benedryl. Could this really be poison ivy when I have it on my arms now?
