Is Light Bleeding With Blood Clots Post Medical Abortion Normal?

Hello, I had a medical abortion 4 weeks ago. I had light bleeding the 1st week. I went to my second follow-up had a transvaginal ultrasound done. The nurse told me the embryo was gone but that I still had tissue in my uterus. I'm now in my 4th week and started my 1st period. I started to have really bad cramping. The bleeding is light but I have notice some blood clots. Is this normal?
