Is Memory Loss A Symptom Of Stroke?

Hi my Dad has not remembered a few things today that he knew. He asked why my Christmas decorations are at his house, when he brought them there 2.5 weeks ago, why the headphones were on the counter that he put there when my son left his house this afternoon. Do you think he needs to be seen at the hospital? I am concerned about a possible stroke coming on?
