Is Mirena Coil Causing Rashes And Itching?

hi, i had a mirena coil fitted at the same time as having a d and c. two weeks later i came out in a rash which itches and sometimes gets hot at night.. im taking a strong antihistamine prescribed by my doctor but it doesnt seem to be helping ( but i have only taken 4 tablet so far). how long can i expect this to last.
