Is My Family Doctor Responsible For Telling Me EVERYTHING They

Is my family doctor responsible for telling me EVERYTHING they read from my ultrasound write up that they receive from the medical imaging centre??? Or are they required to make a decision based on what they think I should know at that specific time???
What would happen if they withhold information from me about my ultrasound??
What should I do in this case???
