Is Nasal Polyps Curable?

Hi, My nose is getting blocked continuosly from past 20 days.
I am taking otrivin drops before sleeping else i cant breath even for a single minute also.Today I consulted doctor,they told there is some extra muscle in nose and gave some medicine.If it wont reduce they told I have to take some laser surgical operation.I want to know wether it is curable in medicine or I should go for a surgery.
