Is Not Washing The Hair Harmful?

M Indian Gujarati Girl...Ya this now hair wash matter is such a matter one need to think.. Its a religious Myth... Can any one advised on this? If any one had passed through this situation or any one is facing this can guide me to think broad. were u following this ritual or washing yr hair as regular as before pregnancy. M 5th Month pregnant & very curious to know as m agree with yr thought taht its very unclean & unhygenic thing no hair wash till 9 months Kindly let me know. abt yr experiance.
