Is Operation Needed For Cyst Formation In Upper Lip?

hi i am 19 year old girl. two weeks before i had a lump(swelling) at the centre of my upper lip. i went to a doctor who gave me antibiotics zinir(cefdinir 300mg) for 7 days. but it didnt work. so she gave me clavicef and emanzen. but it seems this is also not working. she told it is a cyst formation. can you please tell me if i require an operation and why is the cause for this to happen. recently i have discovered that i am allergic to sunlight. i develop itchy skin which goes off when i have an anti allergy tablet.
