Is Oral Flagyl Considered One Of The Safer Drugs To

Is oral Flagyl considered one of the safer drugs to take if you have a history of C Diff? I am being treated for a BV infection. After four days of taking Flagyl I have developed abdominal cramps, pain and loose stools. Is this side effects from the Flagyl or a return of the C-Diff. I have been taking Florastor for three years and went to three times a day while on the Flagyl. My GI told me to stop the medication and relayed in her experience no one has gotten C Diff from Flagyl. I know it can take 48 hours for the Flagyl to clear your system. I am a wreck thinking and felling like the C- Diff has returned. Any suggestions. I had the last dose Saturday.
