Is Pain Management Not Required?

I have recently moved to wisconsin, the hospital hooked me up with a doc here but even though I was recieving gabapenten and hydro codone, this doc cut my meds to 4 a day from 6 a day from where I was in pain managment before I left. I have several medical conditions, This doc alsoi says theres no need for pain managment and refuses to refer me, Should I seek another physcian? Im just dont want to be accused of doctor shopping etc? I have been on meds for 2 years now and because of my bone infection they say they cant do anything else. My biggest problem is there is no other doctors that arent apart of the same hospital as my current doctor, and I dont want to make him mad. Also the current doctor will not prescribe more than 50 at a time, making it cost me more, its the same cost to me whether its a months supply or a weeks.

thanks

Michael
