Is Pregnancy Possible After Missing Dose Of Contraceptive Pill?

Hiya, I ve been on the loestrin 20 pill for 8 days now, usually taking it at the same time (morning) each day but today I forgot and didn t take it until the afternoon and tonight I had unprotected sex with my partner. Will I be safe from pregnancy? I know the initial time for you not to have unprotected sex when the pill is not started at the beginning of the cycle is 7 days, so I was just wondering if 8 days would still be alright with my pattern of taking the pill in consideration? Thanks!
