Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Birth Control Shot?

Hi I just received my first drop shot. Me and my ex had unprotected sex 5 days later and he said he might ve accidentally came inside me. If I am taking the shot is it a possibility that I can still get pregnant? And another question I have been having yellowish discharge is that normal?
