Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Using Ortho Evra Contraceptive Pills?

Hello. My girlfriend has just started using a contraceptive patch called "ortho evra". She applied it within the first 24 hours of her period (24/4/2010), the first time we had unprotected sex was (2/5/2010). Is my girlfriend at any risk of pregnancy?
