Is Pregnancy Possible If The Reminder Pills Are Missed?

I am on the pill, birth control and have taken the white active pill on time and everything, however I missed 2 reminder pills and during those two days had unprotected sex, because it says you do not need a back-up method. I was bleeding and had what seemed my period. Is this true or could I be pregnant?
