Is Pregnancy Possible While On Birth Control Pills?

I have a question about my birth control. According to the internet, you are supposed to get your period sometime during the 7 inactive pills. Mine has been consistently coming 3 to 5 days BEFORE starting the inactive pills, and it only lasts around 5 days, so for most of the inactive pill week, I do not have a period. I am just curious if this increases my risk for pregnancy if I have unprotected sex during an inactive, post period day? I hope that wasn't too confusing, and I thank you very much in advance for your time.
