Is Prolonged Spotting Post Miscarriage Normal?

Hello, I had a natural miscarriage 6 days ago. I was 5 weeks pregnant. I started spotting bright red on Sunday and had some mild/heavy bleeding monday, the rest has been light bleeding. Today is the 6th day of bleeding, and although the bleeding is almost gone, it is still bright red and everytime I wipe or do anything strenuous. Also, yesterday I started feeling some discomfort on my left ovary it feels like. I have an apt with the OBGYN in 10 days, should I wait that long? Should I wait it out? what´s happening?
