Is Proteus Mirabilis Bacteria Sexually Transmitted?

Hi Doctor, my husband just had urine test (cultured) and was found that there is a level of 5.040 proteus mirabilis/cc. Is it normal or does it say something else? would the bacteria pass on to me during intercourse? what would be the effect? thanks.
