Is Psychiatric Counselling Advisable For A Person With Severe Depression?

my wife treatment for depression iS continue from last 03 yrs from IHBAS,DELHI.Thera are good improvement but doctors in IHBS wants to weekly sitting with patient for more improvement.
it is not possible for us to go weekly from udaipur to delhi. thay suggest to continue medision from IHBAS & ask some clinical psychiatrist counseling in udaipur.
